This webinar will provide headteachers, managers, teachers and practitioners with expert insight into completing the assessment of children’s development at the end of the EYFS in accordance with statutory guidance.

On 10 October 2022, the DfE updated its Early years foundation stage profile: 2023 handbook to help teachers and early years practitioners make accurate judgements about each child’s level of development at the end of the EYFS and to detail the statutory requirements for the EYFS profile assessment in the 2022/23 academic year.

In this webinar, Debi Keyte-Hartland, early years expert, TEDx speaker and lecturer with over 25 years’ experience working with schools, will explore the main purpose and principles of the EYFS profile assessments, explain how the EYFS handbook correlates with the 17 early learning goals (ELGs) and discusses settings’ responsibilities around data collection and submission.
