On 16 March 2022, the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) published its research on the impact of COVID-19 on pupil attainment. The report describes general trends in data across several studies to investigate the impact of COVID-19 on educational attainment by pupil age, disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged pupil status, prior pupil attainment levels and school subjects, most notably reading and mathematics.

In this webinar, Adrian Gray, former inspector, Ofsted evaluator and academy trust consultant with extensive leadership experience, will explore the main themes to emerge from the research including key findings into how progress may have been impacted, how much the disadvantage gap may have widened and the extent of any signs of recovery.
