This webinar will provide headteachers, curriculum leaders and teaching staff with practical guidance and advice on understanding, planning and delivering lessons around sexual representation online in line with statutory RSE curriculum requirements.

As part of the DfE ‘Relationships education, relationships and sex education (RSE) and health education’ statutory guidance, all students in secondary school should be taught about sexually explicit material and the impact this can have, such as presenting a distorted picture of sexual behaviours, damaging the way people see themselves in relation to others and negatively affecting behaviour towards sexual partners.

In this webinar, RSE expert Rebecca Jennings, who has over 18 years’ experience delivering age-appropriate relationship and sex education to schools, discusses the importance of teaching sexual representation online to students and how to develop a classroom environment where they are able to confidently and openly ask questions.
