This webinar will provide headteachers, governors and trustees with advice and practical guidance on preparing for a meeting with an Ofsted inspector, gaining insight into Ofsted’s expectations of the governing board or academy committee and how in the inspection process works.

Ofsted’s Education Inspection framework highlights the importance of evaluating the effectiveness of leadership and management, in which governing boards and academy committees play a key role. Ofsted inspections include meetings with governors or trustees in which they will be expected to answer questions about the effectiveness of their school or trust.

In this webinar, Wendy Adeniji, experienced school principal, MFL teacher, inspector, trainer and author of international renown, will explain what Ofsted will expect governors and trustees to know about their school, how Ofsted meetings are conducted, and provide examples of ‘effective challenge’ during a governing board or committee meeting.
