What are video game genres?
Much like movies, music and countless other mediums of entertainment, video games are categorised into genres.
A genre is just a type of game; it might be a shooting, sports, driving, or adventure game.
Some genres tend to have safer content than others but knowing the key differences will provide a good basis for understanding what games might contain.
