Promoting Healthy Friendships and Positive Interactions Between Girls

Aim: This webinar will provide you with practical guidance and advice on developing strategies to help promote healthy friendships and positive interactions between girls, including supporting them to manage turbulent relationships and build their communication skills, empathy and resilience.

Rationale: All schools have a duty of care to create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters healthy friendships and supports the wellbeing of all children. Girls can often experience different social dynamics to boys and have to overcome challenging social interactions, so it’s important that staff have the knowledge and skills to recognise when girls may need additional support and how to help them manage their friendships and interactions.
