French, German and Spanish GCSEs: DfE Consultation on Subject-Level Conditions and Guidance

This webinar will provide modern foreign languages teachers, subject and curriculum leaders and headteachers with expert insight into the proposed subject level conditions and guidance, covering the regulatory requirements that must be followed in all new GCSE qualifications in French, German and Spanish, and explain how schools can take part in consultation.

On 22 March 2022, the DfE opened consultation on proposed subject level conditions and guidance for new French, German and Spanish GCSEs, which will be available for first teaching from September 2024, with first assessments in summer 2026. This follows confirmation in January 2022 of subject content and assessment arrangements. The deadline for this latest consultation is 19 April 2022.
