Aim: This webinar will examine why it is crucial that settings actively support personal, social and emotional development (PSED) for the benefit of children’s progress. It will particularly focus on the Education Endowment Foundation’s new PSED resource tool and how settings can utilise this within their provision.

Why this webinar’s important: There is a growing body of research underlining the benefits that supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development (PSED) can bring. In March, the Education Endowment Foundation launched a new resource to help early years practitioners offer this support in an effective, evidence-based way. Our expert examines this new resource and guides early years staff through how it can be used to promote children’s PSED – including aspects such as modelling the management of emotions and feelings, and teaching relationship skills, self-care and self-regulation.
