Aim: This webinar will provide you with an in-depth review and understanding of the new statutory induction arrangements for early career teachers (ECTs), due to come into force at the start of the 2023 academic year, including what this means for schools and how you can start preparing now.
Rationale: On 21 April 2023, the DfE published new ‘Induction for early career teachers’ statutory guidance. All schools involved in managing statutory induction arrangements must comply with the guidance when carrying out their duties and refer to the document to meet the Education (Induction Arrangements for School Teachers) (England) Regulations 2012. The new arrangements take effect from 1 September 2023.
