For: Teachers
Aim: This webinar offers expert insight for early career teachers into the ‘fulfilling wider professional responsibilities’ component of the Initial Teacher Training and Early Career Framework, and what that might look like in reality. It encourages reflection on one’s own practice and provides a downloadable self-evaluation tool for identifying strengths and areas of further development as you move towards meeting the Teachers’ Standards.
Why this webinar’s important: From September 2025, the government’s Initial Teacher Training and Early Career Framework (ITTECF) will come into effect, combining and replacing the Initial Teacher Training Core Content Framework and the Early Career Framework. It sets out what early career teachers need to know – and know how to do – at the start of their teaching journey. This series of webinars is designed to create a learning pathway through the ITTECF for early career teachers.
