This webinar will provide school governors, headteachers, senior leaders and all school staff with an in-depth review and understanding of the new statutory induction arrangements for early career teachers (ECTs) due to come into force from 1st September 2021.
On Thursday 25th March 2021, the DfE published their ‘Induction for early career teachers’ statutory guidance. All schools involved in managing statutory induction arrangements must have regard to guidance when carrying out their duties and refer to the document in order to comply with the Education (Induction Arrangements for School Teachers) (England) Regulations 2012.
In this webinar, Jayne Robinson, school leader and SCITT tutor whose 25 years’ experience includes roles as NQT mentor and EYFS lead, will explore in detail what the new guidance means for schools, what impact it will have on the statutory induction process and how it links in with the new Early Career Framework (ECF) reforms.
