Aim: This webinar will offer an overview of the current landscape of risk in relation to digital sexual violence and online sexual harms for children and young people. It will provide expert guidance on mitigating risk and responding to disclosures and concerns, in line with statutory and non-statutory guidance for schools.

Why this webinar’s important: Technology can be misused to facilitate sexual violence in a variety of ways. With the National Crime Agency taking the significant step in April 2024 of releasing an urgent warning around financially motivated sexual exploitation online, it is imperative that educators and school staff have the skills to recognise the signs that a child is at risk or has already been impacted – as well as the knowledge to respond correctly, in line with statutory guidance.
