Digital Manipulation
Digitally altering images used to be reserved for film stars on movie posters, models in magazines or pop singers on album covers. Now, anyone with the right software can modify any image they choose. Our short video on digital manipulation will swiftly put you in the picture.

What is digital manipulation?
Digital manipulation is the editing of media to make it appear different. This is extremely widespread online, and you may have heard it discussed as ‘Photoshopping’, named after Adobe Photoshop, the popular image editing tool. Although typically associated with image editing, digital manipulation can also refer to video footage that is cropped unflatteringly; while it’s often intended to deceive, intentions are not always to harm. Phone camera apps often have beautification settings to slim the face and hide blemishes.
