Webinar Duration: 58 minutes (approx.)

This webinar will provide headteachers, school leaders, teachers, reading and literacy leads and governors with expert insight into the DfE's The reading framework: teaching the foundations of literacy, to help them prepare their literacy provision for the new academic year.

On 10 July 2021, the DfE published The reading framework: teaching the foundations of literacy, which represents a valuable literacy resource for primary schools, bringing together the experience and knowledge of teachers, reading and language experts, educational organisations, English Hubs council members, and 34 English Hubs.

In this webinar, Emma Rogers will identify the key elements of the DfE's reading framework, helping schools to evaluate their teaching of early reading and employ evidence-based practice to support all pupils to achieve fluency in reading, improving outcomes both at school and in later life.
