Aim: This webinar will provide you with insight into how the DfE view the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI), such as ChatGPT or Google Bard, in education, including the opportunities and risks that it brings and what the technology means for staff and pupils.

Rationale: On 29 March 2023, the DfE published a departmental statement outlining its position on the use of generative AI in the education sector. It’s the first document the DfE has published that looks at how AI could be used in schools and what kind of impact it could have on areas such as classroom practice and formal assessments.
