This webinar will provide headteachers, senior leaders, phase leaders and teachers with expert insight into and guidance on how to develop a job-sharing strategy to enhance staff recruitment and support retention in primary schools.

On 22 September 2022, a research briefing from the House of Commons Library identified that the overall number of qualified teachers in state-funded schools has not kept pace with increasing pupil numbers over the past decade or so. This means the pupil-to-teacher ratio has risen. Similarly, the teacher vacancy rate has increased during this time.

In this webinar, experts from Flexible Teacher Talent, who aim to normalise flexible working in schools in order to retain effective teachers and leaders, will explore the ways in which you can develop an effective and practical job-sharing strategy within a primary setting that can enhance the recruitment process and aid retention of employees already in-post.
