On the 22nd October, the ‘Coronavirus Act 2020 Provision of Remote Education (England) Temporary Continuity Direction’ came into effect. It places a legal requirement on schools and colleges to be able to provide access to remote education for any pupil, class, group or small number of pupils who need to self-isolate, or who must stay at home in the event of a local or national lockdown.

In this webinar, international safeguarding expert, Robin Watts, will discuss how schools can look to develop online lessons as part of their wider remote education provision. It will explore what safeguarding measures schools and colleges must have in place and how to ensure lessons are age-appropriate, set up correctly and delivered in a safe learning environment.
