Aim: This webinar will provide you with expert insight into the impact of delayed language on the wider learning of children with SEND in early years settings, exploring strategies for creating talk-rich environments and considering their impact on children with SEND.

Rationale: The EYFS statutory framework identifies communication and language as a prime area of learning and development, which underpins all seven areas identified in the framework. Whilst pandemic restrictions may have come to an end, one of the effects of missed socialisation is that some children are experiencing language delay, which may impact their overall development now and in future.
