Webinar Duration: 1 hour 18 minutes (approx.)

This webinar will present headteachers, senior leaders, teachers and teaching assistants with a review of the curriculum, highlighting areas which might be perceived to be selective and biased in their representation of history, culture, heritage and world view, and thereby reinforce racial stereotypes.

In recent months, events across the world - including Black Lives Matter protests and the dismantling of memorials to slave traders and colonialists - have intensified scrutiny of the agencies which help shape our perspective, including educational institutions.

In this webinar, John Rees, RSHE subject matter expert, together with Rachel Tomlinson and Shabnam Cadwallender, extend an invitation to view the curriculum through an impartial lens, evaluate its representation of our past and our present, and discuss ways in which imbalance might be redressed via debate which is sensitive to personal values and beliefs.
