This webinar will provide headteachers, school and college leaders and teachers with an understanding of and insight into cyberstalking and how to recognise and respond to the signs that children or young people may need support.

Cyberstalking can cause serious repercussions and can be difficult to combat. Research from Ofcom (2022) shows that 33% of 5-7 year olds and 60% of 8-11 year olds have a social media profile, which means, that as their exposure to the online world increases, so does the potential possibility of children and young people facing these online risks.

In this webinar, Dr Paul Bocij, a researcher, author and educator in online deviance, explores the concept of cyberstalking, discusses a range of case studies to understand the effects cyberstalking can have on children and young people and how schools can support potential victims.
