COVID-19: How Schools Should Operate to Meet DfE Expectations

This webinar will provide senior leaders, headteachers and all school staff with practical guidance and support on what actions they should be taking to remain open in response to COVID-19 and local and national restrictions.

All schools should now be complying with the recommended COVID-19 advice and controls as stated in the DfE ‘Guidance for full opening: schools’ guidance. On the 5th November, the DfE updated the measures that schools should be implementing. The key areas that have been affected have been outlined in the ‘Education and childcare settings: national restrictions from 5 November 2020’ guidance.

In this webinar, John Rees, an experienced teacher, trainer and consultant with more than 25 years educational leadership experience, discusses what the DfE expectations of schools are in response to COVID-19, the processes they need to follow and how they can continue to deliver curriculum objectives whilst minimising transmission and the risk of infection.
