Aim: This webinar will provide you with an understanding of updated statutory careers guidance for schools and colleges and offer practical advice on how you can support students to access a full range of technical providers in line with new legislation which came into effect on 1 January 2023.

Rationale: On 5 January 2023, the DfE updated their statutory guidance for schools and colleges on providing careers guidance. The updates reflect changes to the provider access legislation, in particular, strengthening the legal requirement for schools and colleges to ensure all year 8- 13 pupils have at least six opportunities to meet providers of approved technical education qualifications or apprenticeships.
