This webinar will provide headteachers, nursery managers, practitioners, teachers and nursery assistants with practical guidance and advice on how to effectively respond to children who bite and find solutions around managing biting behaviour in the early years.
As young children in the early years still come to terms with how to express their fears and control their emotions, biting behaviour can pose challenges for practitioners, especially if another child is bitten. This can lead to difficult conversations with parents.
In this webinar, Jayne Robinson, School Leader and SCITT tutor whose 25 years’ experience includes roles as NQT mentor and EYFS lead, will explore practical strategies to respond to and manage biting in the early years as well as discuss the role biting may play in children’s development.
