Whilst the kids of yesteryear would only really be interested in games consoles or music gear, our new world of user-friendly tech means that children and young people are interacting with a huge range of devices on a daily basis.

The average home now has smartphones, tablets, smart TV’s and smart speakers– even the standard games console is now a fully-functional entertainment system, with the ability to play games online, stream films, TV shows and music as well as the ability to chat on Skype or browse the web.

That’s why it’s important that parents and carers try to get to grips with the technological age children and young people are now living in and the devices and instruments they use to connect to the online world.

This webinar is presented by broadcaster and online safety advocate Myleene Klass. Its content has been developed in collaboration with our expert Heather Cardwell, a practising online safety lead who is CE-OP (Child Exploitation Online Protection) trained.
