Differentiation is a vital skill in a teacher’s toolkit. They must be able to adapt their delivery to be able to meet the Teachers’ Standards, in which they must “know when and how to differentiate appropriately, using approaches which enable pupils to be taught effectively”. This also includes being able to “have a clear understanding of the needs of all pupils” to ensure that differentiation’s implementation in the classroom is a success.
In this webinar, Matt Bromley, a senior school leader and teacher with over 20 years’ experience working in education, encourages teachers to understand how differentiation can enable all pupils, no matter their background or starting point, to access an ambitious curriculum and achieve improved outcomes.
