National Online Safety is first to win new award at Education Resource Awards 2023
National Online Safety was the first winner of the new Online Safety Award launched at the Education Resource Awards, held on 18 May 2023. The accolade recognises companies offering a product or resource that can “clearly demonstrate effectiveness in teaching a positive, healthy, and respectful online culture for schools and colleges”.

Certified School programme: training for all stakeholders
Judges at the Education Resource Awards commented that National Online Safety’s Certified School programme “met so much of the different criteria to support online safety, in one go”. They were impressed with how the programme provides training for all stakeholders, including parents and carers, and that parental engagement can also be tracked to ensure that online safety support is being provided beyond the school.
The hugely popular Certified School programme offers a carefully curated blend of resources, including general and role-specific courses, to help schools implement a whole-school approach to online safety, aligned with UK statutory and curriculum requirements.
Schools which successfully complete our programme can showcase their commitment to online safety to the world, and evidence compliance with DfE guidance, Ofsted expectations and best practice for important stakeholders, including Ofsted, governors and parents.
