Springhill Catholic Primary School

Springhill is a three-form entry Catholic primary school set in spacious grounds in the heart of Southampton. It strives to provide a caring environment in which children can grow and learn, with the Catholic ethos woven into every aspect of the school.

It is one of the highest-achieving schools in the area (having received an ‘Outstanding’ rating from Ofsted in 2022) and pupils tend to make excellent progress during their time at Springhill. The school’s focus on developing the whole child makes it an environment full of fun and laughter, with frequent events and occasions adding to an exciting and rigorous curriculum.

Springhill was proud to have been selected by the Department for Education as one of 34 national English Hubs. It provides tailored support to other schools in the region, including events which showcase best practice in teaching reading; helping schools to develop their practice; and offering conferences and workshops.
