NRICH, University of Cambridge
NRICH is a pioneering initiative that provides free, curriculum-linked mathematics resources for students aged 3 to 18. Rooted in a commitment to accessibility and excellence, NRICH supports teachers, parents and learners by offering a wide range of engaging materials designed to foster curiosity, resilience and confidence in mathematics.
Based within the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, NRICH believes that mathematical success goes beyond procedural fluency. It includes the ability to solve problems creatively, communicate thinking clearly, and develop a strong, positive attitude towards learning. The programme is grounded in the view that confident mathematicians must understand the curriculum, but also be able to reason, explore and justify their ideas.
All NRICH resources are freely available and are shaped by a collaborative effort between the Faculty of Mathematics and the Faculty of Education at Cambridge. At its core, the project aims to nurture learners who are not only capable and skilled, but also curious and resourceful—attributes essential for success in mathematics and beyond.
