Tracey Maloney

Tracey is a tutor at Buckingham University following an MEd in Educational Leadership, and has worked with eQualitas for fourteen years as a tutor and presenter of training courses. A keen interest in curriculum development has led to a position as Trustee of a large MAT, chairing the education committee and overseeing the development of a trust-wide curriculum to raise the aspirations and broaden the horizons of pupils in all trust schools. She is committed to working with teachers and leaders to develop their knowledge and skills whilst sharing and discovering new approaches and discourse around education. 

Tracey has worked in education for more than 25 years. She began her career as a teacher of English, then working as Head of Department and in SLT roles, line managing subjects and leading teaching and learning. She became a Subject Advisor for Richmond Upon Thames and has since worked as an independent consultant, reviewing and auditing the teaching and learning in a variety of schools and settings, focusing particularly on English. Tracey worked as a literacy consultant for the London Grid for Learning, helping to design curriculum content for English departments and also worked with authors to further promote reading in schools. She has a MA in English in Education from King’s College.
