Thomas Stead is a qualified designated safeguarding lead, advanced skills teacher and head of year who is passionate about promoting and protecting the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of children and adults at risk.
With 10 years’ safeguarding and teaching experience in both the public and private education sector, Thomas brings an in-depth knowledge of legislation, case studies, and referral practices to design and implement effective safeguarding strategies, policies, and processes.
Thomas has helped deliver and embed robust safeguarding protocols for the Premier League and the Counter Terrorism’s Policing Prevent Command, training staff, collaborating with agencies, and presenting policy change to national audiences.
