Tamara White

Tamara White has taught biological sciences at GCSE, A Level and degree level for over 13 years in the UK and Europe. Her training includes a PGCE in Further Education as well as a PGCert in Higher Education, and she has taught on a wide range of courses in biological sciences, as well as global perspectives courses in Europe, covering the interactions between environmental and social sciences. 

Tamara has completed an MSc in Biological Diversity, an MSc in Sustainability and Natural Resources, and a University Certificate in Biological Recording and Species Identification. Her experience in teaching both at further and higher educational level in the UK and internationally has given Tamara insight into the importance of understanding of biodiversity, sustainability and climate issues, and the application of this knowledge, with the potential to impact future decision-making and meeting UN Sustainable Development Goals and UK carbon reduction targets. Tamara understands the knowledge and gaps that students and teachers may begin with, and aims to bridge these gaps by providing applied activities and resources for them to take away.
