Sarah Fishwick is a teacher and development education expert with a BA in English & Theology, an MA in International Development, and an MSc in Education for Sustainability. Sarah has over 28 years’ experience of teaching and supporting schools to integrate global learning into the curriculum. Sarah was also one of the founding members of the nationally-known LILAC eco-community in Leeds. 

Sarah has particular interest and expertise in climate change, and has been a lead designer of Leeds DEC Climate Curriculum, Climate Curriculum Development suite for science, maths and climate CPD training courses. She combines work for LDEC with working as a primary teacher

She has worked as a regional global learning coordinator for the Diocese of Ripon and is an active member of several climate change education groups. She also works as an education trainer member of the schools’ Climate Action Leeds project. She is a validated British Council Connecting Classrooms trainer.
