Philippa Wraithmell is an award-winning educator and author, known for her groundbreaking book ‘The Digital Ecosystem’ – the first global guide for educators on digital education. With more than seven years of expertise in digital strategy, and over 15 in teaching and change leadership, she has developed policies for government entities as well as bespoke skills and curriculum frameworks for schools worldwide. As an Apple Distinguished Educator, Philippa has led national projects in both English and Arabic. She is highly qualified in various educational technologies and methodologies, with extensive experience in STEAM, design technology and computer science.

Founder of EdRuption, Philippa focuses on four critical pillars of strategy: digital governance, safeguarding, pedagogy and innovation. Through workshops and vision and values sessions delivered as part of the Digital Bridge initiative, she empowers parents to support balanced technology use for their children and themselves. Collaborating with EdTech partners, she trials emerging technologies to ensure that schools understand the ‘why’ of digital learning and that students unlock their potential. Passionate about positive school leadership, meaningful technology integration and safeguarding, Philippa continues to shape the future of education.
