Lisa Ponter

Lisa Ponter is an experienced Senior Leader, Education Consultant and Trainer with 20 years’ experience working in education. 

Now working as an Education Consultant and ITT Lecturer, Lisa started her career working in primary schools in North Yorkshire. As a Deputy Headteacher and Specialist Leader of Education, she used her expertise to lead improvements not only in her own schools, but through school-to-school support across the country. Forging a successful track record in school improvement, Lisa established and led one of the DfE’s English Hubs, and latterly worked as a School Improvement Lead for a large MAT in the north of England. 

Lisa is currently supporting teachers and school leaders undertaking the newly reformed NPQs as a facilitator, Leadership Performance Coach and Assessor. She has also worked as an ECF Visiting Fellow and is an Associate Lecturer and Visiting Assessor for the National Institute of Teaching and Education.
