Lisa Brown

Lisa Brown is an experienced education consultant specialising in safeguarding. She began her career as a police officer, including secondments to the Child Protection Unit, before moving into education more than 25 years ago. Since then, she has held a range of senior leadership positions, including headteacher roles in the UK and the Middle East. 

Lisa has delivered safeguarding training for local authorities, led university safeguarding sessions for trainee teachers and served as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for numerous schools, trusts and school groups across the maintained and independent sectors. In each of these roles, she has been responsible for leading staff training and embedding robust safeguarding practices tailored to diverse school communities. 

Most recently, she served as Head of Safeguarding for a large international schools group. Today, through her consultancy work, Lisa continues to share her deep knowledge, passion and practical experience in safeguarding with schools around the world.
