Laura Rivolta

Laura Rivolta is Head of English and a Year 6 teacher at Ilsham Academy. Having previously worked as a corporate solicitor in London, she retrained as a teacher in 2020 – joining Ilsham two years later, following an initial teaching post in London and a move back to Devon.

As Head of English, Laura has worked on the implementation of a number of Learning Academy approaches across the English curriculum. In 2024, she led the Ilsham team in achieving a UKLA/OU Reading for Pleasure Quality Mark (Gold).
