Judith Tinsley

Judith is currently an educational safeguarding lead for a local authority, and, as an independent consultant, works with a number of multi-academy trusts and independent schools, offering guidance, support and robust evaluations of practice. 

As part of this role, she leads a team of advisers reviewing all current statutory guidance and developing support resources for schools. She also delivers DSL training for new and experienced staff. 

She has over thirty years’ experience in education, having been a local authority school effectiveness lead, headteacher within the primary and secondary sector, OFSTED inspector and CEO of a multi- academy trust. 

Originally starting in the sphere of special educational needs and social and emotional needs in the West Midlands, Judith has developed her skill set by working with schools in challenging circumstances and special measures.
