Jo Morton-Brown

Jo is an experienced keynote speaker, content creator and clinical supervisor, and travels the country to deliver school assemblies and PSHE workshops. 

Jo is a qualified associate Mental Health First Aid instructor. She delivers bespoke training about mental health affecting children and young people, and supports teachers in training/Early Career Teachers to build their understanding and confidence in supporting their students’ mental health needs. 

Through Jo’s direct experience of working with children and young people as a school-based counsellor and family support worker within the education sector, she has gained an array of knowledge and expertise in the field of mental health. Jo has the capability to support parents/carers in better understanding their children’s emotional wellbeing. 

She also has a long-standing interest in staff wellbeing and has worked across different sectors in the context of staff mental health awareness, stress management and burnout. 

Jo’s lifelong ambition is to support schools to promote mental wellbeing amongst staff and students, so that they become mentally healthy schools. She believes that early intervention is key.
