James Manwaring

James is Director of Music for Windsor Learning Partnership, which involves teaching key stages 1-3, GCSE and A Level music across a multi-academy trust, as well as running an extracurricular programme. His role involves leading several ensembles and choirs both inside and outside school. The music department has grown year on year and has healthy numbers opting for GCSE and A Level. James stages an annual musical production and leads a bi-annual music tour. 

The Windsor Upper Schools Music Department has reached the 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017 finals shortlist for Music Department of The Year in the Rhinegold/Classic FM Music Teacher Awards for Excellence. 

James is also Choral Director, Glee Club UK, and leads the Windsor group which currently has around 90 members. He is a committee member for the Music Teachers Association, and enjoys speaking at their events in person and online.
