Hilary Visser

Hilary is an Online Child Safety Consultant specialising in International Child Law. She has a Master’s Degree in Comparative Child Law from the North-West University South Africa in conjunction with the Justice Liebig University in Germany. She is currently busy with her PHD in Child Law Focusing on Online Child Sexual Abuse Material, a comparative study between the UK and South Africa.

Hilary is an Attorney and she is passionate about Online Child Safety, advocating for the protection of children whilst ensuring fair and reasonable regulatory and policy decisions.

Through both research and work experience she understand the need for regulatory and policy compliance. She believes this is best done through development of international partnerships relating to online content whilst respecting and incorporating the unique cultural aspects of individual nations and industries.
