Gabrielle Jones
Gabrielle has led teaching and learning in the post-16 sector for over 10 years. She is a strong believer in creating learning cultures where all staff want to continue to develop, contribute to the organisations they work for and improve the lives of the students they serve. As well as teaching English at all levels, she has also taught the Extended Project Qualification, French, Humanities and ESOL, in addition to developing literacy, numeracy and study skills across the college. With this wide-ranging experience, she supports the improvement in teaching and learning across all subject areas. Using the teacher talent management strategy, she works with teachers at the beginning of their career, such as pre-qualification teachers, trainee teachers and those in their first few years of teaching. She has developed teacher training programmes and mentoring provision for all three. She also supports teachers who are ready for, or who are in, leadership positions through training programmes and coaching.
Gabrielle is an accredited senior practitioner coach, who uses her coaching knowledge in the classroom to support students as well as teaching coaching skills to teachers and leaders. She has experience in embedding coaching strategies across organisations and supporting trainee coaches. She is currently working with leaders in education on a variety of projects. These include embedding wellbeing, developing a coaching culture, leadership development, and implementing T Levels.
