Danni Cooke

Danni Cooke is an experienced teacher and leader who has been working in education for almost 20 years. Since the national hubs were formed in 2018, she has been Ilsham’s English Hub Lead – leading a large team which includes a number of literacy specialists.

Danni’s passion is supporting children to learn to read. She believes that getting the foundations right from the outset is the best way to support early language development and ignite a lifelong love of reading in young people. Within her role, Danni also supports the leadership of phonics and early reading across the 18 schools which make up the Learning Academy Partnership.
