Chris Emmott

Chris is an experienced inspector, and undertakes consultancy work in the independent schools sector. He mentors new head teachers and supports governing bodies in discharging their duties and developing their understanding of the inspection framework.

He has worked in both the maintained and independent sectors, primary and secondary, and commenced his career as an A level maths teacher. Chris has spent the last twenty-five years as the executive head of a highly successful 3-11 co-ed prep school.

Chris is passionate about helping schools to fulfil their vision by maximising the engagement of the whole school community, for the benefit of all pupils, in a rigorous and creative pursuance of excellence.
