Alice Hoyle
Alice Hoyle is a founding trustee and elected member of the Sex Education Forum Advisory group, and she was made a life member of the PSHE Association in 2015. Alice has an MSc in Sexual Health Education and works freelance as an advisory teacher of Relationships and Sex Education (RSE). As a qualified teacher she now also works as a Youth worker specialising in mental health, sexual health, youth voice and LGBTQ+ issues.
Alice previously lent her expertise to DO… RSE for schools, a RSE resource and collaboration which provided expert-led support and resources to ensure truly inclusive RSE was being delivered in schools. She also advises the Sex and History Project at Exeter University and for Westminster University as a practitioner/researcher exploring the role of parents in sex education.
Alice is a published author, and her second book for RSE teachers filled with lesson activities and ideas was published in December 2019. Alice is particularly passionate about creative and innovative approaches to RSE, supporting parents with RSE and RSE in the early years.
