Alex Borrill

Alex Borill is a headteacher who has worked across a range of primary and secondary schools, both church and community based. She is a strong advocate of child engaged assessment and is a curriculum designer and leader, working with a hub of schools on the 'Learning without Limits' philosophy.

Alex leads national training and consultancy in maths for primary and secondary schools. She has led whole-school CPD focussing on fluency, reasoning and problem solving, and helped to drive the development of the mastery curriculum in maths, empowering learners and improving teacher confidence.

Her interests include neuroscience, pedagogy and research-based teaching. She is an advocate of Expeditionary Learning (EL) education principles and is a member of the STEAM Leadership Academy. Alex has successfully completed The National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).
