Adrian Guy

Adrian Guy is an independent school improvement consultant with over 20 years’ teaching experience in all year groups from nursery and pre-school to Year Six. He spent 12 years in senior leadership roles in different schools, including headship and secondment as Local Authority Consultant Headteacher. He has been a school governor and chair of an IEB.

Adrian was regional mathematics lead for the North East, Yorkshire and the Humber. As part of his role, he led seminars on aspects such as: better mathematics, better English, work scrutiny, school improvement planning, equalities, diversity and anti-bullying, school self-evaluation, and assessment and progress in Key Stage 1 and EYFS. He also conducted subject assessments in mathematics, early reading (phonics) and music.

As well as supporting schools in school improvement and all aspects of school review and performance management, Adrian now works with schools in developing their curriculum and subject leadership in light of the new Ofsted framework. He also holds post-graduate qualifications in School Leadership and Management, Early Years and Arts Education.
