Annual Certificate in Teaching Online Safety for International Junior Schools (2023-24) (2023-2024)

All children in primary schools should be taught about online safety as part of a broad and balanced curriculum. An effective whole-school or college approach to online safety protects and educates pupils in their use of technology and establishes mechanisms to identify, intervene in, and escalate any concerns where appropriate. 

Developed by Heather Cardwell, experienced online safety lead and senior school leader, this course provides you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence you need to feel empowered to help keep children safe online.

To successfully understand and achieve the objectives of the course, learners are expected to engage in all aspects of the learning process to ensure they can successfully apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in their own settings.
