Developed by Ashleigh Simpson, registered Associate Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition, this course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to gain a comprehensive understanding of the School Food Standards, what the nutrition requirements are for pupils, and how the Standards aim to meet these requirements.

The current School Food Standards were implemented in 2015, following a campaign from chef Jamie Oliver. The standards are part of the DfE’s School Food Plan, which was created to improve meals for pupils across the UK.
