Annual Certificate in Online Safety for Staff for Nurseries (2023-2024)

Nurseries and early years settings (for birth to 5 years old) provide a vital foundation for online safety education in today’s digital age. Staff working in these establishments should understand their role in promoting the online safety and wellbeing of children in their care, as well as considering their own professional practice in line with recommended guidance and best practice.

Developed by Konstantina Moustaka, a professional development and EYFS coordinator, and nursery practitioner with over 16 years’ experience, this course provides you with the knowledge and skills to support an effective approach to safeguarding children online and safer use of technology.

To successfully understand and achieve the objectives of the course, learners are expected to engage in all aspects of the learning process to ensure they can successfully apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in their own settings.
