Certificate in Emergency Planning and Response

It is an obvious requirement for children’s growth and education that they are provided with a safe, secure learning environment, and the impact of crises on our children’s wellbeing is often significant. As a result, it is imperative that education settings have a robust system in place for emergency planning and crisis management, to minimise potential damage to property, loss of productivity due to downtime, and the adverse effect of any unexpected mishaps on our children’s learning and safety. 

Developed by Keith Rhodes, occupational health and safety practitioner, this emergency planning course for education settings provides you with the knowledge and skills to understand how to plan and prepare for emergencies, and how to respond when a crisis occurs.
